Izen Tu is Creative Director of I’DER Design, and served as the first president of the Taiwan Package Design Association. He is associate professor of many Taiwan universities. He specialises in multi-disciplinary teaching methods such as cultural innovation, Taiwanese literature, digital content, visual communication and creative products.

Tu, at the beginning, was a graphic designer, but he then switched his career to integrated multi-brand strategy industry. Tu is known for harnessing design as a problem-solving tool. He integrates Taiwanese industry and its core value with local culture through integral designs in harmony with nature, conceptual aesthetics and sustainable branding. He has received numerous awards: Taiwan Packaging Star, Golden Pin Design Award, GOOD DESIGN AWARD, Red Dot Award, iF Award and the German Design Award.
