BODW City Programme (CityProg) is a citywide creative and business community activation programme with the aim to engage public, activate the community and foster collaboration with local businesses and brands.
As an extension of Business of Design Week (BODW), Asia’s leading annual event on design, innovation and brands organised by Hong Kong Design Centre, CityProg will partner and collaborate with different brands, businesses, organisations and institutions to organise an exciting mix of happenings at anchor sites and satellite sites, especially around Wan Chai, from November to January every year with the peak during BODW period ( 1-9 December, 2018), to connect the city’s creative power, lift up creative vibe and celebrate good designs and innovations with a vision to establish Hong Kong as the creative hub of Asia.
Organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre, DFA Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held on 4 Dec at HKCEC. Around 200 outstanding design excellence and uprising design talents will be acknowledged and recognized this year. It’s the great pleasure to celebrate the design excellence and share the joy of DFA Design for Asia Awards and DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award winners!
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design (PolyU Design), Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) jointly present the Leadership Forum on Design Education. Design is a growing discipline that is taught at all levels and to both design students and non-design students. This forum aims to acknowledge the vast amount of changes that we observe in the world around us, in university education in general and in design education in particular. At this Leadership Forum, design leaders and educators are here to share their perspectives and provide new insights on the future of design education.
