Born and raised in Hong Kong, Joshua later studied in UCLA and moved back to Hong Kong to develop his Food & Beverage (F&B) business with his twin brother in 2010s. He established his F&B consulting brand, Twins Kitchen, that has the vision to bridge the gap between design and restaurant operation to create a betting dining experience. Now owns Common Ground, a slow-paced café and lifestyle store, and PRESET, a mold-breaking retail event space with a coffee bar called INTERVAL in the heart of Central. They also own a Chinese dumpling bar called GAO in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a food designer and the award winner of HKYDTA 2017, he firmly believes that a memorable dining experience is not only through the food itself, but it is also a multi-sensory experience that can be stimulated through interior design and visual interaction. Joshua aims to create an innovative food experience could engage with its audience and inspire them to think more and more profound. Like his work in Confluence 20+ with Hong Kong Design Centre at Milan Design Week 2017. He also named as ‘Local Champion’ in T.Dining Award 2019 by Hong Kong Tatler for his significant contributions to promoting Hong Kong food culture, at home and abroad.
