Rex Sham is Co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Insight Robotics where he is responsible for the company’s technology and innovation strategy. Sham has prototyped hardware and software solutions for the company’s current core technologies. He has developed two co-authored patents and won various R&D awards for his inventions.

With expertise in robotics and artificial intelligence, Sham is committed to creating automated solutions to derive intelligent and actionable insights from data. Furthermore, Sham has extensive cross-territory practical and research experience in fire behaviour and detection where he worked in collaboration with the Guangdong Academy of Forestry to undertake fire tests to explore different methods of detecting forest fires in China.
