Lorraine Justice, PhD, has been at the forefront of design and technology for decades. An expert in east-west design, innovation and design research practices, she was one of the first to tell the story of design in China. Her book China’s Design Revolution by MIT Press (2012) earned high praise and led to keynotes around the world. She specialises in helping leaders and teams understand cultural differences in a unique way through tailored design research at the front end of projects. As a design analyst, Justice will help you by identifying relevant cultural and technological trends, opportunities and potential disruptions.
Justice is an internationally known design educator, Fellow of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), and considered one of the top 50 in helping to shape the current fields of design. She is currently a Professor of Industrial Design and a Dean Emerita at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Prior to joining RIT, she was the Dean of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design for 7 years and Director of the Design Program at Georgia Tech.
